Fabricator Supervisor
Automation Personnel Services has an immediate job opening for a Fabricator Supervisor to join our team. In this role you will use machines and hand tools to make components for larger products, such as airplanes or machines.
Their duties include reading blueprints and schematics, aligning components and using hand tools or machines to complete the assembly process.
This is a potentially permanent position with a wonderful company where you can build a long term career! Start Date : May 22, 2024 Shift : 1st shift.
Pay Rate : $25.00-28.00 per hour.
Requirements :
- Must have steel toe shoes. All other PPE, including COVID-19 protection face mask, will be provided by the plant manager.
- Must have reliable transportation; public transportation does not go to the plant location.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts if needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (Lifting assessment required)

Requirements :
Must be able to pass SMAW & FCAW testing.
Pay Rate
$25.00- 28.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday thru Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
