Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph)

Piper Companies is hiring a Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) for a large technology organization located in Raleigh, NC. The Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) will support enterprise systems and network monitoring platforms, including the deployed Network Management System (NMS). The Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) is a long term contracting opportunity and requires you to sit onsite 5 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities of the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) :

Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments (preferably RHEL)
Build and manage virtual servers and containers (Docker / Kubernetes a plus)
Support networking infrastructure : switching, subnets, VLANs, and storage
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system management
Implement NIST 800-53 security controls and maintain DOD 8570 compliance
Collaborate on monitoring solutions; Splunk experience is a plus
Provide support for virtualization, storage, and network operations

Requirements for the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) :

TS / SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

Security+ or equivalent DOD 8570 certification

Strong foundation in Linux, networking, virtualization, and storage

Experience with scripting and automation tools

Compensation for the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) :

$135,000 - $150,000
