This role works with the Benefits Implementation Manager on day-to-day tasks and collaborates with Implementation Specialists, Sales, Human Resources, and Account Management to onboard new clients and deliver client renewals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform the delivery of client renewals
- Support and collaborate with Sales for successful client onboarding and renewal
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for new clients and renewals during the implementation phase
- Conduct new client Open Enrollment meetings
- Assist sales with the delivery of benefits products during the sales process
- Drive progress of implementation across numerous teams
- Facilitate client setups through DHR software
- Create and manage project plans, timeline trackers, and other standard implementation documentation
- Gain a granular understanding of a new client's business needs and document processes to support onboarding
- Continuously improve product deliverables
- Create, update, and maintain product knowledge information
- Assist in solving complex problems and conduct analyses based on data and facts
- Assess and interpret customer needs and confirm accuracy of selections
- Proactively anticipate issues and facilitate resolution
- Create and customize department-specific documents
- Drive solutions across multiple functional areas and provide additional support as needed
- Set up tools and documentation for implementation and renewal kickoff
- Coordinate and complete implementation plan updates with functional leads; track follow-ups
- Coordinate across areas for follow-ups, troubleshooting, escalation, and progress tracking
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and business units
- Track tasks, identify opportunities, anticipate obstacles, and propose solutions
- Facilitate and host internal and external conference calls with clients, brokers, and vendors
- Document client's business rules to support objectives
- Formulate and communicate plans of action for escalated deliverables
- Follow company policies to comply with data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including SOC controls and HIPAA
- Other duties as assigned
