RN Trauma Step- Down / PCU

Location : Bradenton, FL, 34201
Shift : 12 hr Days and Nights
Job Type : Permanent
Guaranteed Hours : (36 hours / week)
Compensation : Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma Step-Down / PCU team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the Trauma Step-Down / PCU unit.

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications :

Current and active RN license in Florida.

Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required.

Must have 1 year of RN experience preferability in the hospital setting but is open to LTACH, HOME HEALTH, REHAB

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
