Job descriptionEstimate projects based on received bids Analyze cost data for products and labor Ensure project requirements are met, including IHDA, WHEDA, Disadvantaged Business requirements, labor and hiring requirements, design criteria, and municipal regulations Post upcoming projects for bidding, receive bids, and input data into spreadsheets Analyze bids for scope coverage and update systems accordingly Assist with estimating and maintain a cost database for multiple projects Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and trade partners Communicate project details with team members and trade partners Support management with process improvements Experience as a Construction Estimator Technical college degree, 4-year degree, or relevant experience in lieu of degree Knowledge of new construction, historic renovation, and multi-family projects Understanding of construction methods and codes Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Building Connected, One Team, PlanGrid, BuilderTrend, and Smartsheet Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans Detail-oriented, organized, and pride in work quality Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills

- Hybrid Position. Offices in Milwaukee, Chicago and Kenosha
SUMMARY : Construction Management Associates is seeking a Construction Estimator with experience in Commercial / Multi-Family Construction projects. Residential experience is a plus. The primary role involves providing accurate take-offs and estimates, preparing final estimates, material take-offs for CMA supplied materials, analyzing bids, reviewing construction documents, and comparing historic data.
