Nurse Practitioner

Location : Fresno, California

Pay : $85hr

Schedule : 10-12 hour shifts. Variable shift & Variable days working. Clinic opened 7am - 7pm

Hire Up Healthcare has partnered with an amazing Medical Group who are looking to add Nurse Practitioners to their team.

This clinic provides care and in family practice and urgent care

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations both in clinic and in hospital settings.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating with physicians and specialists when necessary.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, while monitoring patient response and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Provide counseling and guidance to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in medical research projects.
• Will be seeing 40-50 patients a day

Qualifications :

• Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in CA.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• ANCC, AANP or NCCP Board Certified
• DOT Certification Preferred
• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Dedication to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive health outcomes.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with medical advancements.
• ER / UC Experience Preferred
• Must have 1 year of experience.
