Document Support Specialist

Shift 8am-5pm (8-4 : 30 if they only want to take a 30 min lunch).

Based on role / area these contractors will be assisting with the scanning, imaging, filing, prepping, batching and quality control of paper loan documents. This is a paper environment and some positions require colleagues to be on their feet 6+ hours a day and lift up to 40-50 pounds. All positions require basic computer skills as they will be entering a production log each day via Excel and doing basic tasks on the computer even if they are on the filing team which doesn't do much PC work.

This department needs highly motivated individuals who have the ability to work quickly and efficiently as this is very production driven. It is repetitive and monotonous and they are touching paper all day. Achieving production goals over time is a must if someone wants to get hired on permanent. Leadership of this department is very flexible and understanding with our contractors but communication and work ethic must ALWAYS show up.

There are 75 different job functions in this group and they will be cross trained on a lot of them. It is important they are eager to learn and have a great attitude and GREAT attendance.

There are 3 main groups of the department. All contractors will have a primary job function but might get trained in another area or be able to post for a position in another group if they are hitting production in their own area.

1. File team - This is the most physical job (still not super physical) which will require the contractor to be on their feet around 6 hours a shift as well as getting on ladders to put files away on MSU's (movable shelving units). This position is very repetitive and monotonous but high attention to detail and the desire to work efficiently is a must. Best candidates for this role want to be up and moving around. They also have the ability to focus on their work and stay on task. The tasks are not complex of difficult but they do require a motivation to hit metrics and work with urgency.

2. Imaging team - They will prep business banking & SBA files, assemble and index them out to our imaging system for the field to view the documents online. Imagining team members will not be on their feet nearly as much but must process many of the same characteristics as the file team. They will mostly be prepping and deprepping documents, scanning files and indexing. This role requires stronger data entry and computer skills than the file area.

3. QC team - This role is what would be considered as the top job in the area. The colleague performs various functions that are routine to moderately complex in nature. These include but are not limited to sorting, processing, researching, extracting and filing documents and files within the File Room Department. They must be the strongest of the 3 groups with computers, have excellent attention to detail and be able to catch other peoples mistakes and problem solve effectively.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
