Job Description

As a Lead Engineer on Olsson's Distribution team, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship while supporting a wide range of distribution projects. Although your primary focus will be on distribution, your background in transmission, distribution, and substation will be essential as you collaborate closely with our Transmission and Substation teams to deliver integrated solutions.

You will be responsible for :

Leading technical efforts on distribution projects and coordinating with transmission and substation teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Mentoring junior engineers and technicians through one-on-one coaching and small group training sessions.

Driving QA / QC processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellence in deliverables.

Sealing engineering documents and ensuring adherence to regulatory and professional standards.

Applying your diverse technical background to solve complex engineering challenges and support project success.

Supporting project planning, design, and execution with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

You bring to the team :

A Bachelor's degree in engineering.

A minimum of eight years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility.

A diverse technical background in Distribution, Transmission, and Substation engineering.

At least four years of experience supervising and / or mentoring technical personnel, including one-on-one and small group training.

Strong QA / QC skills and attention to detail.

Ability to seal engineering documents (PE license required).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

Colorado Pay Range

$130,000-$193,000USD
