Senior Testing Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Testing Automation Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automated testing.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), hands-on experience with POS applications, and the ability to perform backend testing and log analysis.

This role requires collaboration with product owners and development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing across all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Execute functional, progression, and regression testing for POS applications in QA and UAT environments.
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure test cases are prepared before development iterations begin.
• Conduct log and database analysis to provide context and insights for issue resolution.
• Write and execute test cases for APIs using tools such as SoapUI and RestAssured.
• Perform backend testing using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Analyze logs using tools like Logz.io and Kibana.
• Design and execute automated tests and contribute to automation framework development.
• Utilize Jira and Zephyr Scale for test management and tracking.
• Apply BDD or TDD methodologies using tools like Cucumber.
