We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and who is well-versed in a variety of legal procedures and protocols. The successful candidate will be a key player in our legal team, assisting in the preparation, filing, and management of various legal documents, and handling a range of administrative duties. This role will focus heavily on matters concerning intellectual property, including USPTO, PCT applications, transmittal, information disclosure statements, and foreign patent matters.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents with the USPTO and other relevant agencies.
2. Managing PCT applications, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
3. Handling transmittal and information disclosure statements.
4. Assisting with foreign patent matters, including liaising with foreign associates and managing correspondence.
5. Organizing and maintaining case files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
6. Conducting legal research, summarizing findings, and preparing briefing notes as required.
7. Communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and other relevant parties.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal procedures and regulations.
9. Performing a variety of administrative duties, including scheduling, data entry, and record keeping.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within the Intellectual Property field.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of legal procedures, protocols, and court systems.
3. Familiarity with USPTO, PCT applications, transmittal, information disclosure statements, and foreign patent matters.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of documents and data.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
8. High level of professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
9. Bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
