Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and emotionally intelligent individual to join our Business Development team as a Business Development Relationship Manager . This role plays a vital part in supporting SALT's Business Development team and executive leadership through administrative support, event coordination, relationship management, thoughtful gifting, and strategic communication. The intention of this position is to deliver a differentiated, white-glove experience that leaves a lasting impression on potential partners and industry players.
The Business Development Relationship Manager will serve as a trusted extension of the SALT Business Development team 75% of the time and support other special corporate events, VIP guests and special projects 25% of the time. As such, this position will report to the Chief Development Officer with a dotted reporting relationship to the Chief Executive Officer. This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Phoenix Home Support Office (HSO).

Qualifications and Skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, read a room, and adapt to different personalities and situations with professionalism and warmth.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable drafting polished correspondence and speaking on behalf of senior leaders.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track follow-ups, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, especially when managing event logistics, travel arrangements, and personalized gifting.
Skilled in coordinating complex events, including internal summits, client visits, and conference participation.
A proactive, concierge-level approach to client and prospect experience, with a passion for creating memorable, thoughtful interactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Collaborative and responsive, with a willingness to support team members and cross-functional partners.
Self-starter who anticipates needs and solves problems before they arise.
