Highlight Healthcare of Aurora is in search for a Social Service / Activity Director. We are a 68 bed facility with a warm atmosphere.
We provide skilled, long term and respite care. We are looking for someone that is self motivated, compassionate, energetic and talented to join our team!
- Recent experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred
- Should enjoy working with the geriatric population
- Must be able to work with residents and their families as needed
- Should be familiar with all Social Service paperwork including assessments, documentation requirements, the MDS, etc.
- Should be familiar with discharge planning
- Must be able to work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Experience with activities
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Computer skills
- FULL TIME : DAY SHIFT
