An Asset Management Specialist is needed to help Veritex continue to grow and mature its IT environment. Veritex is growing rapidly on the business side and IT is struggling to keep up with overall asset lifecycles, as well as the management of 3rd party vendor relationships. Candidate will assist with vendor management for coordinating licenses, working internally with the Veritex vendor management team, tracking SLAs, performance metrics, warranties, adherence to deliverables, etc.
The ideal candidate will not be responsible for writing the SLA's and KPI's, contracts etc, but experience helping to manage the 3rd party vendor relationships would be very helpful. This role will be more reporting and documentation, as well as liaising with the Vendor Management team.
An Intermediary between vendors that can create deadline schedules.
Inventory of vendors is not huge, but there are 57 vendors total for IT.
They want us to have better engagement on how they are tracking these relationships, ensuring that are profitable, closing out when the relationship with the vendor ends.
Job is broken down roughly 80% Asset Management and 20% Vendor Management
Here it’s more nuanced. Veritex is beginning a brand new implementation of ServiceNow. Currently in scope for 2023 is ITSM and ITOM, but HAM and SAM are coming online in 2024 Q1. This person will assist in the implementation with the future state in mind. Helping to make sure they set up the Asset Management in an effective way etc.
