What You'll Do : Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or access. Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering designated areas within the manufacturing and industrial location. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as required to support security-related operations. Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
