Job Description :

• Manage department QA staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.
• Plan and direct the daily activities of a team focused on a particular system or technology work directly with QA teams and Scrum teams to drive QA left in the agile process.
• Liaison with managers in IT (Product and Development teams) and other functions, applying standard solutions and processes.
• Possess an excellent end-to-end understanding of QA processes and techniques in order to drive quality into the product
• Apply specific technical expertise in depth to address technical and business issues.
• Assume hiring responsibilities and manage / assist in training of new staff
• Plan and direct the daily activities of a team
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
• Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defects occur in production and also throughout the SDLC cycle
• Leads the quality strategy of projects and ongoing support of highly usable, innovative, company products
• Organizes and directs quality assurance activities
• Collaborates with leadership team members to prioritize quality initiatives through regular communication
• Drives quality focus on multiple, high-priority projects to completion based on both system and customer requirements
• Serves as escalation point for quality and stability concerns
• Implements new or revised solutions through QA team members improve quality.
• Provides performance feedback through both informal and formal review sessions.
• Drives consistency of adoption of agile and quality practices, coordinating with Technology peers across the organization.
