Lead Splunk Developer with Java and AWS Expertise

Position Overview

Join our team as a Lead Splunk Developer and make an impact! We are looking for a talented individual with significant experience in advanced Splunk queries to swiftly address and resolve production support challenges. Your proficiency in Java development and expertise in AWS cloud services will allow you to effectively integrate application development with cloud engineering and production support. We require 5 to 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Splunk. This role is perfect for someone who excels in high-pressure situations, leads incident resolution, and guides the development and support teams while ensuring optimal system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Splunk Expertise
• Write and execute complex Splunk queries in real-time for immediate troubleshooting of production issues.
• Design and fine-tune Splunk dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools to proactively identify issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document incident reports using Splunk data.
• Collaborate with support teams to enhance Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
• Educate teams on Splunk functionalities through training sessions.
• Application Development & Support
• Lead troubleshooting sessions for Java-based applications.
• Implement fixes and enhancements in Java / Spring Boot applications.
• Work with DevOps and support teams to facilitate smooth deployment and operations.
• Support applications hosted on AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Resolve performance and integration issues within AWS environments.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Act as a technical leader, guiding the development team.
• Collaborate closely with support, QA, and DevOps to optimize incident handling and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior developers in best practices for Splunk, Java, and AWS.
