Alliant Energy is seeking a motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in transforming business problems into actionable insights by leveraging data analytics.

From identifying trends to providing strategic recommendations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making and optimize business processes.

Job Responsibilities :

Works independently to develop scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing, and analyzing data.

Works to develop and support embedded analytic strategy by integrating current industry best practices.

Champions change and supports culture transformation through adoption of analytic and automation skills.

Optimizes data models through normalization, table analysis, and review of queries.

Collaborates with others responsible for analytics across the organization to teach techniques and work together to solve data and analytic problems.

Ensures success of analytics across the company by removing barriers.

Works with management to assist with employee development and upskilling of junior team members.

Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Required Experience

5 years of direct experience in a related field (statistics, performance management, analytics, or research).

Experience with data modeling and architecting analytics solutions.

Experience communicating complex data in simple form.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Emphasis in math, statistics, analytics, operations research, computer science or other applicable field.

Experience working with Big Data environments such as Snowflake.

Experience working with geographically dispersed team.

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.

Experience working with utilities.
