We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor, Manager for the NW suburbs. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in overseeing payroll functions for nearly a billion-dollar organization. Ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations and tax laws. The successful candidate will bring leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and proficiency with payroll systems to help optimize our processes. Salary up to $120K plus bonus. This is a hybrid model with two days in office.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage full-cycle payroll operations for a workforce of 500+ employees.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Utilize PeopleSoft Payroll or a comparable payroll system to process bi-monthly payroll accurately.
• Lead efforts to improve payroll processes, including automation initiatives and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
• Provide leadership and guidance to payroll staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed payroll reports and analyses to support organizational decision-making.
• Monitor payroll systems for accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and labor regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Assist with tax filings using services such as ADP or equivalent platforms.
