Product Manager
The Product Manager is responsible for helping design insurance technology products by serving as a key point of contact for enterprise customers understanding their needs and ensuring their voices are reflected in product development. This role involves regular interaction with clients presenting solutions gathering feedback and building lasting relationships to drive product adoption and addition to product development the Product Manager will lead customer meetings product demos and presentations acting as a trusted advisor to both existing and prospective clients.
Key additional responsibilities include providing quantitative analysis; developing reports; developing marketing content; making business recommendations; conducting market research presenting analyses and research; and developing strategies to demonstrate value to RiskStream members. The RiskStream Product Manager reports to the Senior Director of Product Operations but also works closely with the President of RiskStream the broader Product management team the Sales team and the Operations team.
What Youll Do :
- Serve as a primary liaison between RiskStream and its customers ensuring their requirements and feedback are central to product strategy.
- Lead customer meetings product demos and presentations to communicate product value and gather insights.
- Has a holistic viewpoint across all use cases and products.
- Effectively communicates with key stakeholders influencing them to support proposed strategies process improvements and operational decisions.
- Maintains documentation regarding various projects processes and operations.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the companys product to competitors products based on an analysis of the size of the market the piece of the market that our products satisfy etc.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts using industry data; preparing special reports and analyses answering questions and requests.
- Works with Product Management Team to gather review and analyze business and industry data to create a market analysis.
- Assesses product market data by calling on customers with relationship managers and evaluating results.
- Helps RiskStream attract new members by working closely with RiskStream staff to create return-on-investment analyses conduct market outreach and participate in sales discussions.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Works with Sales to support product-sales and membership discussions.
- Establishes and manages partnerships with external solution providers to enhance product offerings.
What Were Looking For :
Bachelors degree.Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. account management client services sales engineering or consulting) is highly desirable.Showcases analytical ability but also impressive aptitude for understanding business problems quantifying solutions and writing research reports.Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast-paced environment with many initiatives.Ability to manage a variety of research projects. Both product-oriented projects and occasionally business-oriented projects.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.Demonstrate initiative and ability to advance projects while managing multiple initiatives.Capability to influence and instill credibility in sponsors peers and subordinates by meeting project milestones deadlines and budget.Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.Excellent working experience with Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint and Visio. Experience with analytical tools like Tableau or R is a plus.Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.Excellent oral and written communication problem solving and leadership skills.Key Competencies
