Starting Pay : $25.5240 Hourly ($53,090)

Step A : $28.9784 Hourly ($60,275)

Step B : $29.8399 Hourly ($62,067)

Step C : $30.7904 Hourly ($64,044)

Step D : $31.7803 Hourly ($66,103)

Step E : $33.0731 Hourly ($68,792)

Step F : $34.2019 Hourly ($71,140)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree in health education, public health or closely related field -AND-  two (2) years of experience in health education, public health or public information activities;

• OR-

Master's degree in health education or public health  -AND- one (1) year of experience in health education, public health, or public information activities.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must possess valid Michigan driver's license and vehicle available for use on County business.

Willingness to work irregular hours on weekdays and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to perform Essential Job Duties and Functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

JOB SUMMARY :   Responsible position planning and organizing community health educational programs involving the dissemination of health information to the general public; promotes, organizes and guides various community health activities; develops programs in accordance with agency guidelines, procedures and goals; duties require extensive skill dealing with the public; works independently under general supervision; performs related duties as required.
