The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location within the CHR Corporate Human Resources division. The Timekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee work hours, leave, and attendance data. This role supports payroll processing by maintaining timekeeping systems, resolving discrepancies, and providing excellent service to employees and managers regarding time-related inquiries.
What You'll Work On
Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records in the timekeeping system.Review and audit time entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.Assist employees and managers with timekeeping issues, including corrections, approvals, and system navigation.Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure proper integration of time data into payroll processing.Generate and distribute timekeeping reports as needed for internal audits and management review.Support onboarding and training efforts related to timekeeping procedures and systems.Identify and escalate system issues or policy violations to appropriate stakeholders.Maintain confidentiality of employee data and adhere to data protection standards.Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.12 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or HR administration.Familiarity with timekeeping systems.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications
Workday timekeeping systems.Experience in a large, multi-site organization.The base pay for this position is $28.25 $56.45 per hour.
