DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ROLE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE :

• Supervise accounting team
• Prepare annual budgets
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Manage payroll functions
• Oversee financial reporting to funding agencies, ensuring compliance with grant and program budgets
• Journal Entries
• Assist with audits
• Assist HR with benefits administration
• Maintain banking relationships and insurance policies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years managing a team
• Nonprofit industry experience
