Job Title : Accounting Clerk
Department : Accounting Department
Reports to : Accounting Manager
Job Summary :
An Accounting Clerk provides day-to-day accounting and billing support, processes transactions, completes account reconciliations and client billing across various third-party systems, and assists in database maintenance.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares daily bookkeeping tasks
- Assists with month-end billing process
- Monitors the flow of the accounting email inbox
- Manages the AR function by applying cash receipts
- Supports the AP function by reviewing coding or by preparing various journal entries
- Assists with the billing function of client invoices
- Assists with the monthly, quarterly, annual client and firm reporting
- Assists with the definition and documentation of bookkeeping policies and procedures Required

Ability to work effectively as a team member as well as independentlyAbility to organize workflow and manage time efficientlyDemonstrates strong attention to detailMaintains a high level of service to internal and external clientsPossesses excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with staffProLaw experience (Juris, Elite, or equivalent accounting software)Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially with higher-level Excel functionalityEducation and Experience :
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related fieldRelevant work experiencePhysical Requirements :
