Job descriptionAccountable for maintaining profitable, cost-efficient operations, guiding and supporting all sales efforts, and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory guidelines. Lead, direct, and manage site operations at a single or multiple warehouse location(s) to ensure maximum profitability and superior customer service. Manage one or multiple warehouse location(s) and company resources to facilitate quality and efficient operations. Establish and maintain positive, productive customer relations while managing daily resolution of issues. Ensure that freight is being expedited in a safe and timely manner and that each assigned warehouse location provides a safe and professional environment for all staff. Regular attendance is required. Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures. Ability to identify issues, requirements, and opportunities involved in customer service. Ability to manage all financial aspects of designated warehouse locations. Experience managing external service providers (cartage, truckload, and linehaul). In-depth knowledge of all products and services. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills at a management level. Demonstrated team leadership and participative management skills. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5-7 years of experience.
