Overview
We are seeking a dedicated FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance efforts at the plant level. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You will be a key member of the team, driving a strong food safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and management of food safety and quality programs
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Train staff on food safety protocols and best practices
- Lead, develop, and coach FSQA team members
- Foster strong working relationships with regulatory entities
- Drive continuous improvement of product quality assurance
- Ensure timely resolution of food safety and quality issues
- Establish a cooperative presence on the Plant Leadership Team
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or related field or equivalent plant experienceExperience with GFSI audit schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC)Strong grasp of HACCP, GHP, Sanitation, Animal WelfareExperience engaging with internal and external customersProven ability to proactively identify and address risks to food safety and regulatory protocolsExperience with testing methodologies and third-party laboratoriesDemonstrated leadership and team development skillsExcellent communication and training abilitiesAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to support our diverse workforce.Salary Range : $90,000-110,000
