For this Sales Estimator role, a deep familiarity with Tampa's building code regulations and client base is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
- Present estimates and conduct cost-benefit analyses for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Adjust and refine estimates, considering raw material costs, production times, and labor expenses.
- Track and report on any changes that can affect costs and recommend budget adjustments.
Key Requirements :
- A minimum of 5 years in a commercial roofing estimator role.
- Familiarity with TPO, PVC, Built-up systems, and modified bitumen.
- In-depth knowledge of Tampa's building code regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software.
