Job description
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a premier boutique women's fertility clinic to ensure efficient operation of the medical office as well as be responsible for phlebotomy services.
You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
COVID-19 vaccination with proof of vaccination card preferred*
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for the provider, room them, take vitals and confirm there haven’t been any changes in health (medications, surgeries, allergies are a priority)
- Clean exam room after patient is seen, prepare the room for the next patient
- Answer phone calls when needed, document calls and relay messages / follow up with patients and doctors
- Assist with phlebotomy services (ie) law draws of patients and requested testing (ie) COVID
- Documentation into patient records
- At the end of day, you will make sure all notes are completed thoroughly, fax to referring provider, then submit claim for the visit.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant - 3 years minimum at a private practice environment
- Must be a nationally Certified / Registered Medical Assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Week 1 : Monday 8A -6P Tuesday 8A-6P Wednesday- 8A 6P Thursday 11A- 8P Friday 8A 1P Occasional Sat 8A-1P
Job Types : Full-time,
Salary : Starts at $18.00 per hour + depending on experience.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Certification / Registered as a Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist (Required)
