We are seeking a Business DevelopmentDriven Program Manager to lead our USAF contract at Robins AFB, GA. This role is critical not only to the successful execution of the current program supporting the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG), but also to identifying, shaping, and capturing future opportunities that align with the customer's evolving mission.
The Program Manager will work closely with engineers, developers, administrators, and other technical teams supporting a range of weapon system platforms and airframesincluding the F-15 and F-35 fighters, the B-1B bomber, the C-5 and C-130 cargo planes, the MQ-9 Reaper, and the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter, while also serving as a strategic growth leader. This is not an onsite position, but monthly travel to Robins AFB, GA is required to maintain high-impact Customer Relationship Management (CRM), build trust with key stakeholders, and position the organization for contract expansion and recompete success.
The ideal candidate is a proven business developer with a technical background, deep understanding of USAF policy and acquisition processes, and a demonstrated ability to drive pipeline development, influence customer direction, and lead winning capture strategies, ensuring excellence in program delivery.
Responsibilities
- Performs customer relationship management (CRM) through regular engagement with key stakeholders to manage project milestones and deliverables, while fostering trust and uncovering opportunities for follow-on work and expanded services.
- Briefs leadership on contract performance and discusses trends or feedback that may support positioning for future contract phases or related opportunities.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance, while identifying potential areas for expanded support or future business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with ASRC Federal colleagues on intercompany initiatives, growth-oriented activities, and strategy development, including contributing to business development efforts such as pipeline planning, opportunity shaping, and proposal input.
- Manages several teams performing software development, engineering, information assurance, cyber, and sustainment activities.
- Manages the contractual, financial, performance, and schedule aspects of the program.
- Submits deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Reviews and approves invoices, internal work orders, and contractual changes.
- Conducts forecasting, performance, and budgetary analysis and reviews.
- Prepares reports, metrics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, support, manage and mitigate risks for all functional areas of the project.
- Performs hiring functions, such as opening requisitions, screening and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinates onboarding / offboarding of employees and approve timecards, bonuses, raises, and promotions.
- Provide mentorship to subordinates and work with staff on performance feedback, career growth, conflict resolution, and retention activities.

Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours. You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments. A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4 / 10 or 9 / 80).
