Collection Specialist

A company is looking for a Collection Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure daily goals for cash collections and accounts receivable over 90 days are met

Research outstanding balances and take necessary actions for timely resolution

Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company policies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required; some college preferred

Minimum of one year of experience in medical collections with knowledge of insurance reimbursements

Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ is a plus

Familiarity with basic accounting practices and medical coding

Solid Microsoft Office skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
