Strategic Account Manager

We're looking for a collaborative, future-focused leader to help shape how we deliver value across Walmart and our external partners. You'll report to the Senior Director of Strategic Account Management and lead efforts to uncover opportunities, manage risks, and build trust-based partnerships that achieve mutual growth. If you're someone who can turn data into insight, connect people and ideas across teams, and build relationships to achieve shared goals this is your chance to create impact for our customers, suppliers, and business. This is an in-person role, with presence expected five days a week but that doesn't always mean sitting at your desk. We encourage account managers to spend time where it matters most : at their client's headquarters and with merchants to build trust and drive results.

What You'll Do...

• You have experience leading a team of account managers.
• You have experience leading merchant engagement across a department.
• You have an analytic skill set and technical skills with an ability to simplify complex datasets for customers.
• You implement multiple business plans by identifying customer and operational needs.
• Customer-focused - experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects and manage mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits.
• You connect ideas to opportunities for long-term growth and are comfortable making tough decisions.
• You have experience coming up with inventive solutions for our biggest problems and opportunities.
• Concurrently manage multiple relationships expeditiously.
• Orchestrate collaborative work plans with 3rd party consultants, merchants, operations and suppliers to recognize supplier AND Walmart value and Return on investment from investment with products.
• Capturing and packaging success stories, case studies and other examples of use and implementation of insights derived from products.
• Provide VOC to product team with a supplier and merchant mindset.
• Build and manage cross team relationships with important partners within Walmart that power the business forward.
• Nurture partnerships or client opportunities in a B2B setting; own full lifecycle of supplier partner engagement, deal-making, and implementation.
• Lead a team of experienced professionals, supporting their development, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring performance that reflects the standards of our Account Management team.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area and 5 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area. Option 2 : 7 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area. 3 years' experience in a leadership role in the healthcare sector.

Preferred Qualifications...

6 years' experience in sales, Leading cross-functional teams, Master's degree in business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.
