The Law Office of Ligori & Ligori is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Medical Malpractice, nursing home negligence, and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) abuse and neglect cases. This is an opportunity to be a vital part of a client-centered legal team, supporting attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. If you’re detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about advocating for victims of institutional neglect, we want to hear from you.

Job Duties :

• Assist with scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as needed.
• Prepare cases for trial and attend with attorneys throughout the trial.
• Assist with organizing, drafting, reviewing, and filing Requests for Admissions, Requests for Production, and Interrogatories to opposing parties.
• Managing, drafting, and reviewing discovery responses timely and efficient.
• Preparation of other Pleadings, Motions, Complaints, and Orders, under the supervision of attorneys, as needed.
• Maintain and follow up on all Non-Party production documents, including Requests for Copies and non-party logs.
• Provide legal support to personal injury attorneys and other paralegal staff.
• Knowledge of the E-filing system on both the State and Federal levels.
• Draft and review Civil Remedies Notices.
• Contact clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
