Job Summary
Under general direction from the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach oversees specific aspects of the sports program and helps develop strategies for developing and maintaining the Men's Varsity Volleyball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, position-specific skill-work, planning and execution of practice and games, opponent scouting / film breakdown, on-campus and off-campus recruiting, in-season conditioning programs, fundraising events, and various administrative duties including team travel. Must be attentive to detail, keep accurate records, and work with a diverse constituency. Must foster an environment of NCAA compliance. The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Coach. Work schedule often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Appointment Information
Budgeted Salary : By Agreement Range $35,000 - $37,500 annually. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. California law requires posting a reasonable estimate of compensation. The salary shown is the budgeted amount and should not be exceeded.
