Responsibilities

• You will design, implement, and support electrical systems and products for material handling applications.
• You will develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, cable routing diagrams, and perform basic calculations for power requirements, circuit protection, and load distribution.
• You will specify and select electrical components such as sensors, motors, drives, and safety devices, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC, IEC).
• You will collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to integrate electrical designs into complete automation systems, applying knowledge of conveyor, singulation, sortation, and related technologies to support system performance.
• You will participate in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting during build and installation phases, providing on-site or remote support under the guidance of senior engineers.
• You will prepare and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, wiring diagrams, system specifications, and organized records of revisions and change documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to manage component sourcing, lead times, and resolve technical inquiries.
• You will travel up to 10% for site condition assessments and progress evaluations.
