About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of large or multiple K-12 projects, ensuring operational excellence across preconstruction, construction, and closeout. This individual will serve as both team leader and client liaison, driving project success while mentoring staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of project execution from early planning through warranty closeoutManage budgets, forecasts, and project financials to meet or exceed performance targetsGuide and mentor project managers and engineers, providing direction and supportBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and community stakeholdersCollaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to align project budgets and schedules before start-upReview and approve major change orders, pay applications, and procurement packagesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures across all sitesEvaluate project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvementQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred7+ years of progressive project management experience, including K-12 or institutional work in TexasProven ability to lead multi-project teams, manage large budgets, and deliver projects on timeExceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skillsProficient with project management software and cost tracking systems
