Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay : Starts at $50-60 an hour, with potential for higher depending on experience.

Overtime : Averaging 10 hours / week at time-and-a-half, significantly increasing total compensation.

Annual Salary Estimate : $143,000-$171,600 / year

Travel Pay : Your paid time begins when you leave home and ends when you return-a significant benefit for technicians on the move.

Position Overview

This is a highly skilled, hands-on role providing CNC machine setup, programming, troubleshooting, and customer training. The position is ideal for veterans with mechanical aptitude, leadership experience, and a strong service ethic.

You'll work primarily throughout Southern New England, with daily dispatch from your home. While most workdays conclude with a return home, occasional overnight travel is required for longer installs or automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, program, and test CNC machines including mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment.

Troubleshoot technical issues on-site, including software and mechanical concerns.

Provide hands-on training and mentorship to customers and junior engineers.

Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support pre-sales evaluations and post-sale customer success.

Stay up to date on the latest machining and automation technology.

Develop process improvements for installations and customer operations.

Produce technical documentation for machine programs and procedures.
