DFW Ambassador Volunteer Program
Under direction of the Customer Experience Volunteer Program Manager, assists in the administration of the DFW Ambassador Volunteer Program providing front line customer assistance to airport patrons. Develops and implements various programs to expand the volunteer workforce and maximize customer service available to the traveling public.
What you will be doing :
- Assists with training new volunteers.
- Works with the Customer Programs Manager to achieve the business and public relations objectives of the Ambassador program; assists in the development and implementation of programs intended to obtain these objectives and increase the quality of service available to DFW patrons.
- Develops recruitment plans and strategies to promote the Ambassador Volunteer Program to potential volunteers and the public; updates and maintains a current and comprehensive database of referral sources.
- Develops promotional literature; supervises Ambassador volunteers and coordinates their activities to strengthen and extend the Ambassador Volunteer Program into the future; develops recognition programs to acknowledge and incent the contributions of volunteers.
- Recommends and implements policies and procedures governing the operation of the Ambassador Volunteer Program.
- Works with other Ambassador Volunteer Program staff to develop training programs to educate, develop, and orient volunteers performing various duties on an ongoing or rotating basis.
- Assists the Customer Programs Manager in the development and administration of the Ambassador Volunteer Program budget.
- Develops and administers volunteer schedules.
- Evaluates volunteers by observation and written reports to establish appropriate assignment and level of responsibility.
- Responds to operational needs in the absence of Customer Program Manager.
What you need :
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, communications, or a related field.Two (2) years of professional level administrative experience.One (1) year of supervisory experience.Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.Any combination of education and / or experience may be substituted for the above.What we desire :
Ability to communicate in languages other than English.Experience in coordinating and supervising volunteers.About Us
