Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes :
- High School Diploma, technical trade school training, or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience with metrology software, measurement equipment, and tools.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings per and GD&T.
- Experience with a variety of computer programs including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to metrology and quality control.
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred :
- Experience with designing fixtures or tooling in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Experience drafting engineering documents such as Manufacturing / Quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Gage R&R.
