The Licensing Specialist has to be fluent with all of the tasks in Agency Services. The Licensing Specialist assists agent accounts with great attention to detail and timeliness.

ACCOUNTABILITIES / JOB DUTIES :

  • Answer the agency and credit card phone line with high level of professionalism
  • Process agent of record changes via ImageRight workflow
  • The candidate will also be responsible to assist with agency accounting functions such as process producer changes, track producer licenses and add additional states and products in the producer system for quoting
  • Send out contracting paperwork and setup new producers
  • Agent appointments, background checks, new setup in Hobbes(access to agent confidential information)
  • Resend agent forms and commission statements upon request
  • Assist agents with the status of their account and the statement billing process
  • Review agent updates from the website
  • Review E&Os and W9s for validity
  • Agent banking changes and updates
  • Assist with agent reports, agent security, downloads and idocs
  • Process return mail
  • Communicate on AOR workflow status and compliance issues to manager

  • Quality control the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality of own work.
  • Adaptability the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Safety and security the individual observes safety and security procedures.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with an Associate’s degree preferred.
