Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT, BLS, and recent Epic experience for a 13-week assignment on varied day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a CT department performing basic CT scans, CTA scans, CT brain perfusions, and trauma scans
  • Utilize PACS system and GE CT scanner to perform imaging procedures
  • Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with a third 12-hour shift during the week
  • Patient population includes trauma cases and routine imaging
  • Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required; additional orientation hours provided if not
  • Floating within scope may be required
  • Holiday time off is not guaranteed and may not be approved
  • All listed certifications must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Two references are required for consideration
  • Men must be able to shave to pass fit testing requirements
  • No block or schedule requests will be accommodated or added to the contract
  • First-time travelers and local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Return travelers are accepted if eligible by facility policy

    • Requirements

  • ARRT certification and BLS required
  • CT registry preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience required
  • Experience with PACS system, GE CT scanner, and Epic EMR within last 12 months required
  • Valid compact or TN state license required if applicable
  • Ability to perform a variety of CT procedures including trauma imaging and CT angiography
