McCarthy is seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time Small Tool technician to support our construction equipment yard and office team.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and have a strong attention to detail.
This role is on-site at our Corona, CA location. Work hours will be Monday to Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM (hours may vary).

- Responsible for the receiving, inventorying, distribution, inspection, and maintenance of power tools and small equipment
- Responsible for maintaining current and accurate tooling inventory in Yard Hub
- Place and coordinate power tools and small equipment orders and major repairs
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with the level of service and support they are receiving
- Maintain relationships with existing tool and equipment suppliers
- Responsible for cleaning and performing preventative maintenance on small equipment
- Pull inventory and prepare for delivery
- Deliver power tools and small equipment to project sites as needed
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform basic diagnosis and repair on various types of power tools and concrete equipment including two-stroke engines
- Be punctual and organized
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with all levels of yard / project staff and organization.
- Current driver's license with no restrictions
