Financial Analyst For Corporate Functions
The Financial Analyst for Corporate Functions supports enterprise-wide departments such as HR, IT, Legal, and Finance by delivering financial insights and strategic guidance. This role ensures alignment between functional goals and financial performance, enabling informed decision-making and resource allocation.
General Responsibilities :
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Experience / Qualifications :
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experienceMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customersAdditional Responsibilities :
Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for corporate departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.Provide financial analysis and business case support for initiatives across HR, IT, Legal, and other corporate functions.Collaborate with department leaders to monitor spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Additional Qualifications :
Candidate should be a self-starter who is eager to jump in to learn the mechanics, while being able to elevate the bigger picture report out highlighting the risk areas.Continuous procedural improvement mindset. Candidate should also be prepared to think outside the box, to conform best practices, while partnering with various finance / accounting team members across the organization.Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion, Oracle Analytics Cloud a plusExperience with Excel preferredExperience with MS Power BI a plusExperience with financial modeling also highly valuable to the roleAbility to travel internationally or domestic up to 10%Base Salary Range : $56,300.00 - $116,160.00
