Job descriptionThree years of proven bookkeeping experience in Accounts Payable / Receivable Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. As well as bank reconciliations, balance sheet and profit loss preparation. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Proficiency in QuickBooks and in MS Office is a must. Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong time management with respect for deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bookkeeper - Asheville - Up to $24 / hr
PrideStaff is recruiting for a Bookkeeper for an accounting firm located in Asheville .
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Initiate check run process
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Providing financial, administrative and clerical services
- Processing and monitoring payments
- Perform detailed research / adjustment functions
- Preparing and monitoring the AP / AR system
- Perform reconciliations and provide resolution on accounts with disputed balances
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements
Qualifications and Requirements :
Hours of Work : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $19.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
