Associate Director of Gift Planning

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Gift Planning.

Key Responsibilities

Create and execute donor engagement strategies for a portfolio of high affinity members and gift planning donors

Serve as the primary relationship manager, developing and implementing fundraising plans while maintaining relationship records

Connect donor philanthropic priorities with the organization's critical programs through various engagement methods

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Solid experience in gift planning fundraising or equivalent experience, including knowledge of bequests and charitable gift vehicles

Experience in vetting and accepting a variety of assets, including cash and securities

Ability to navigate donor conversations to identify alternative gift opportunities

Demonstrated effectiveness in meeting fundraising goals

Understanding of equity analysis and practice related to systemic oppression and its impact on relationships and culture
