About the opportunity :
We are currently seeking an SMB Client Sales Manager who is passionate about driving growth and making a significant impact within our expanding sales team.
As an integral part of our team, you will report directly to the Director of Client Sales and play a pivotal role in spearheading sales efforts tailored to Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales, and a collaborative approach to driving results.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our SMB customer base
- Collaborate closely with SMB clients to understand their unique business needs and objectives, and devise customized solutions to address them
- Drive consistent, profitable revenue growth by effectively managing sales pipelines
- Execute territory plans to maximize revenue opportunities
- Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to provide guidance, support, and feedback
- Ensure that established revenue and profit goals are met, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management for strategic planning purposes
- Contribute to the strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the sales department in collaboration with the leadership team
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned
Key Skills and Qualifications :
- Proven ability to build and nurture collaborative relationships, both internally and externally
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Business acumen coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and results-oriented mindset
- Strategic agility with a focus on driving business outcomes
- Must be located in Utah
What you will need for success :
- 5+ years of experience in SMB sales, preferably within the technology sector
- 3+ years in a sales leadership or management role
- Ability to effectively manage a team of quota-bearing sales representatives
- Experience in sales management within the SMB market is highly desirable
Ideally you will have :
Previous experience as a Sales Account Manager for 3+ years with a proven track record of managing revenue in the range of 5M - 10M+
