How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of the company. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. He / she is an integral part of the E&C Americas finance and accounting team and reports directly to the Accounting and Treasury Manager for E&C Americas.

Accounting and Reporting

• Monthly Closing activities : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Responsible for preparing closing journal entries and oversight of Argentina GBS activities. Support G&A analysis as needed.
• Reporting : Submit various S-reporting requirements (overdues, WCR, etc) and perform ad-hoc reporting activities as needed
• Transactional Activities : Responsible for ACE management, project close out, invoicing, collections and netting invoices, including problem resolution
• Account Reconciliation : Attend and oversee quarterly balance sheet account reconciliation reviews with BSC, identify and propose adjustments as needed. Accruals and Reserve management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist Operations control team in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Audit & Control Support : Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Assists on requests for Internal control testing.
