Summary
The Business Development Manager – CCUS is responsible for driving growth and creating new opportunities in the Americas region. This role involves spearheading initiatives with key stakeholders across regulatory, academic, utility, and industrial sectors to drive adoption of our Everllence CO2 compressor solutions and complementary technologies. The Business Development Manager - CCUS excels in integrating cross-functional and cross-regional teams to achieve business objectives and acts as a key promoter of our innovative solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Analysis of market studies and market trends to identify potential new customers and business opportunities for CCUS.
- Regular contact and approach to customers for an excellent customer relationship management to identify customer needs for CCUS compression systems.
- Development of leads and opportunities in customers' Pre-FEED and FEED studies with progress monitoring in customer relationship management tool.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in regions implementing or planning decarbonization policies through strategic Integrated Resource Planning.
- Development of customer business cases and support of front sales and bid management during commercial negotiations.
- Visit of trade fairs and exhibits to be up to date about CCUS market trends and to connect to new CCUS customer groups globally.
- Make presentations and proposals for customer investment decisions for CCUS projects.
- Serve as subject matter expert on Energy Policy and CCUS Market Dynamics.
- Support the sales of MAN-ES CCUS and other decarbonization solutions by originating new opportunities.
- Develop own competence of product portfolio.
- Craft and present data-driven value propositions to both new and existing customers, demonstrating the benefits of our solutions.
- Represent MAN-ES at conferences, seminars, and industry events, showcasing our CCUS solutions and establishing our leadership in the market.
- Drive the sales process for MAN-ES CCUS solutions by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and manage professional relationships with internal support teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Continuously develop deep expertise in our product portfolio to effectively address customer needs and market trends.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel internationally to support global customer engagements and project needs
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial engineering and management, specialized in turbomachinery, chemical engineering, plant engineering and / or power engineering.Experience / Qualifications / Skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within intercultural teams, foster constructive dialogue, build strong relationships, and work alongside leadership to achieve shared objectives.Minimum five years of robust sales experience, with a deep passion for driving sales in diverse, multicultural environments.Exceptional networking skills, fostering strong interpersonal relationships and ensuring excellent customer engagement.Strong understanding of contractual and commercial processes, with a focus on business case analysis and financial calculations.Proven resilience under pressure and a track record of consistently meeting deadlines with reliability and efficiency.Open to global travel, with a flexible approach to international assignments and opportunities.Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills; additional language proficiency, particularly in German and Spanish is valuable.Proficient in general computer skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to various software and digital tools.Everllence USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
