Job Summary :
Works with other members of the Spiritual Services staff to provide spiritual care to patients, visitors and the health care staff of Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION :
Active faith community or chaplaincy experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION :
Completion of an undergraduate degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and satisfactory completion of a minimum of 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Training accredited by the Association of Pastoral Education (ACPE), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or its equivalent is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION :
Written ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group for ministry in a specialized setting preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION :
Ordination or commissioning to function in a ministry of spiritual care by an appropriate religious authority is preferred.
