MECHANIC FIELD III

Job Summary : The Mechanic Field III is responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Hydraulic Truck & Crawler Cranes, etc.), tractors, trailers, and other various equipment at the company shop or in the field and / or job site. The Mechanic must have experience with Electrical and Hydraulic Systems, Steering, Suspension, and Pinning Boom Systems (heavy equipment, semi-truck, trailers and cranes).

Essential Functions :

• Provide support and assist with the DOT inspections on trailers, tractors and cranes.
• Perform PM service on all equipment.
• Assist technicians as needed.
• Replace lights, mud flaps and trailer decking.
• Provide support and assist with air brake inspection and replacement.
• Provide support and assist with Samsara installation.
• Provide support for Crane technicians.
• Ability to travel regionally throughout Florida and work out of a service vehicle.
• Ability to provide support as on call 24 / 7 Field Mechanic.
• Provide support to branch mechanical needs as requested.
