Who We Are
We are a longstanding full-service law firm in Newport Beach, CA seeking a California-licensed employment attorney with three to eight years of experience to join our thriving Labor and Employment practice. Our group supports clients across nearly every industry, handling the full spectrum of employment matters including advice and counseling, pre-litigation disputes, and litigation ranging from single-plaintiff cases to large representative and class actions. Many clients rely on us as outside general counsel and trusted advisors.
What We Need
We are looking for an attorney with hands-on experience in California employment disputes and litigation, including pre-litigation matters, single-plaintiff cases, and class and PAGA actions. You should have experience with harassment, discrimination, retaliation, termination, and wage and hour matters in both state and federal courts.
What Legal Skills You Bring
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in:
- Drafting and responding to pleadings
- Responding to and propounding discovery
- Drafting discovery and dispositive motions (motions to dismiss, summary judgment, summary adjudication)
- Preparing mediation briefs, trial briefs, and trial documents
- Preparing for depositions
Superior academic performance and strong analytical and writing skills are essential.
