Construction Superintendent

Job Description

The Axel Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead onsite construction operations for multifamily residential projects! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex builds, ensuring high-quality standards, maintaining project schedules, and upholding safety protocols. This is a leadership role that requires coordination with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver multifamily developments on time and within budget!

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all onsite construction activities from start to finish on multifamily residential projects
• Enforce project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship across all trades.
• Monitor and enforce safety compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
• Review and understand plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Manage site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and materials.
• Track project progress and report updates, issues, and risks to management.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, documentation, and reports.
• Assist in resolving construction and scheduling issues in real-time.
